It is war, terrible things happen -Eason Jordan As stated in photo journalist, Lalange Snow's "we are not dead" series, "war changes people" Snow intention was to prove that war changes people in series of photos portraying fourteen British soldiers’ faces over a period of seven months, before, during and after their operational deployment to Afghanistan. During war, Soldiers often have to detach themselves emotionally, leading to higher rates of alcoholism, suicide and depression and other emotional breakdown like stress which in most cases, alter physical change.
